Between here and other places

2013-03-14 07.21.56

It is Sunday, I am sitting in the café around the corner from my apartment, and the city outside is grey and cold. They just took a batch of freshly baked croissants out of the oven, and a soft, buttery smell fills the air. The last month has flown by, and lost itself somewhere between

here and other places, on planes and cabs, and in hotel rooms.

Last night, I met up with a group of six girls whom I studied with in Copenhagen. We started the night with sushi and wine, before heading to Mojo. Dancing the night away felt like an episode from another life to me. Obviously, I didn’t actually dance the night away – by 2 am I was so tired, I had to head home. But this immensely social weekend activity still had a ring of normality to it, which I haven’t felt in a while.

I guess the best thing about blogging after a long time is that there are plenty of pictures to share. Since it’s Sunday and I am lazy and all, I won’t attempt to turn them into any kind of coherent story though. Let’s just say: here are glimpses into my life over the last month… How excited are you to finally hear from me again?!

Much love, Ms. Monday
